Dr. Darren D Hulbert

AGK, Executive Director

Advancing God's Kingdom arose from dust surrounding Hulbert's traumatic transition from a senior pastorate. The Lord led him outside the doors of the church and into the business community, specifically the seminar industry. Hulbert found an open door of ministry to develop his ministry, products, and teaching materials that undergird Advancing God's Kingdom.

By summer 2001, nearly 500 people made public professions of receiving Christ for salvation or rededicating themselves to better service! A distance-learning strategy developed (Discipleship Intensive). All was going great ... then 9/11 crashed upon the World Trade Center.

In February 2005, a new opportunity with Louis Brown and Street Smart Real Estate Investors emerged. This rekindled the ministry, and it has been expanding!

Dr. Mark Wogahn

AGK President/Chairman

Dr. Wogahn placed an ad for an office manager in summer 1992. Darren and Cheryl Hulbert moved to the San Fernando Valley that summer to complete seminary. Cheryl found Dr. Wogahn's advertisement for office manager, went for the interview, and took the job. Immediately our family's connected.

In Autumn 2000, as Hulbert transitioned, he asked Wogahn to join the Board of the new ministry, Advancing God's Kingdom. Dr. Wogahn became the first director as this ministry launched in 2001!

Dr. Wogahn operates Active Care Chiropractic in Tarzana, California.

Mr. Jay Thompson

AGK, Vice President

Jay met Darren at Lou Brown Real Estate event in Atlanta in January 2007. They hit it off immediately. A shared value of motivating Christians to become as financially strong as possible knit them together.

Jay operated several successful businesses in the auto industry. He applied his skills to real estate investing with abundant success. He currently uses his energy in Advancing God's Kingdom. His particular challenge is helping Christians eliminate debt, the largest of which is the home mortgages, through United First Financial.

ENJOYMENTS:

Jay is a big fan of HAWAII, and loves to relax in his condo on Maui as often as he can.

Grandkids are his biggest kick!

He and his wife enjoy much travel, managing properties and seizing potentials.

Mr. Jospeh Ryan

AGK, Secretary

As AGK expanded in 2007, Joseph Ryan stepped forward. Joseph and Darren hit it off also with a similar background of ecclesiological and theological training with the Master's College and Seminary.

Joseph brings the toughness to the team, having served valiantly as a Marine in Vietnam. He has a passion to help AGK reach and serve the servicemen in the armed forces through our Veterans Network, a project within the Abundance Complex.

Mrs. Cheryl L Hulbert

AGK, Treasurer

As the #1 motivator and success partner of Dr. Hulbert, his wife Cheryl enjoys taking on challenging tasks, organizing, and running businesses.

Her primary role is Mom to four outstanding children: Samuel, Grace, Candace and Daniel.

Enjoyments
Cheryl enjoys family vacations, skiing, and her Jacuzzi!

Cheryl runs a marketing firm in her spare time.

Dr. David Dinsmore & Jane Dinsmore

AGK, Directors

David became familiar with Advancing God's Kingdom at a personal development seminar in 2001. Dave participated in the disciplemaking training and was AGK's first graduate to complete the entire Disciplemaking Strategy in late 2002. Dave's encouragement was instrumental in stimulating the creation of the book, The Whole Purpose of God.

Dr. Dinsmore taught many personal development courses and sports coaching while expanding his dental practice. David is a managing partner of Comfort Dental in Cherry Creek, Denver, CO, a practice ranked in the top 1% of productivity of all practices in the country.

Mrs Jane Dinsmore also serves Advancing God's Kingdom as a Director, providing her insights and encouragements. We are grateful for her influence.

Dr. Chris Sassouni (awaiting Pic)

AGK, Director

Dr. Sassouni connected with Advancing God's Kingdom at a personal development seminar in Tampa, FL in Spring 2001. Chris completed Discipleship Intensive (DI) and the Church Leadership Development Process (CLDP).

Chris developed his own version of The Whole Purpose of God in a simpler format, which is called The Whole Story of God (available on this site in the Resources section). Chris taught this to his adult Sunday School class, with much accolades! Chris believes every church should have a ongoing course like Discipleship Intensive.

Chris is employed with Eagle Asset Management in St. Petersburg, FL as Sr. Research Analyst/Asst. Portfolio Manager managing billions of dollars.
