Someone recently
asked me, "What's up with the name Advancing God's Kingdom™?" Let
me present a visual.
The present reality: the world is really messed up.
"Duh!" you say.
So what happened to God's created Kingdom? How did
it get so messed up? Where's God when unspeakable calamities harm people all over the globe?
To get the whole story, you need to comprehend the whole message of the Bible. This can be daunting, so here's help to get the big picture - this is going to help you understand
what "Advancing God's Kingdom" means.
First, get a handle on the Bible's message in 10 Words:
CREATOR CREATED
CREATURES CORRUPTED
SON SAVES
KING
WILL COME AGAIN
Advancing God's Kingdom occurs:
...when we recognize God's perfect creation (CREATOR CREATED) has been corrupted by Lucifer
and Man; consequently every person is born into Satan's kingdom (CREATURES CORRUPTED);
...when we recognize God's
desperation to rescue mankind from Satan's deception; that His love motivated Him to sacrificially provide the payment
for mankind's sin through Jesus; and He desperately wants everyone to hear and
receive the message about His Son (SON SAVES);
...when we recognize that Jesus will return; and will destroy the devil and everyone in his kingdom (KING WILL COME AGAIN), we urgently persuade everyone to NOW RECEIVE
God's offer of redemption through His Son!
...When you now
receive the Son, He will empower your soul with peace and strength so you can experience the Abundant Life!
Abundance
Complex
God wants you to receive the LIFE now and enjoy the rest of your days with an abundance mentality (aka., an abundance complex).
We were born with a deficit mentality - always aware of our guilt and "need to survive,"
we bustled about life just "trying to make it." This is how Satan's domain operates - you must "rule your
own life," and thus you must beat out the next guy for the scarce supply of survival
goods. In most places of the world, this is "reality" - there is barely enough for a few. This is not God's
plan for mankind.
God owns everything and when you become His servant child, you become an heir of everything God owns!
Thus your short life is just a short trial - the reward comes later. In the meantime, you become aggressive in helping
others escape the snare of deception. We must seek to save people by helping them recognize God's authority. This is the first avenue for Advancing God's Kingdom -
rescuing deceived souls out of the domain of darkness and advancing them into God's Kingdom!
TRANSITIONING
Once in God's Kingdom your mentality adjusts too - from deficit,
debt, and scarcity - to abundance, satisfaction, and significance. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! This demands continual adjustment
in your thinking process (repentance!).
Once
in God's Kingdom, your desire to help others is revitalized. You knew you should do it; and now you just do it! Of primary
importance is persuading people to receive Jesus and develop their unique giftedness in serving other people. This takes much
action and PATIENCE.
Once
in God's Kingdom, you learn how to live out the principles of God's Kingdom so you thrive in the world. This becomes
your testimony of God's power, presence, and transformation. This advances God's Kingdom.
Then we help others figure out how to survive and thrive in this economy. We equip them to discover
and deliver their unique gifts to their environments. AGK further develops these types of training programs at the Abundance Complex.
